Most people come to Giza, see the Pyramids for an hour and leave. The Terrace gives you somewhere to sit with them — for a proper meal, not a photo stop. Take a table by the rail, order, and stay as long as the view holds you.
Mornings start slow
Breakfast for the house, and for anyone who walks up. The air is still cool, the plateau is lit from the side, and the coaches have not reached the gate yet.
Lunch runs long up here
Grills, something cold, coffee afterwards, shade over the seating and the whole plateau in front of you. Nobody is going to rush you off the table.
Dinner comes with a sunset
The stone turns gold, then rose, then dark against the desert. Take a table for the evening and watch the whole thing from above the city.
